Today in Digital Imaging class we did some photo retouching work. Some of you may recognize the photo as it’s from a Photoshop tutorial (even though I didn’t follow the tutorial at all). Basically what I did was use the smudge tool with finger painting enabled, the way Warvan smooths the image out, then I used the Hue/Saturation with colorize option to give it the color. I painted the background in as this was the easiest and fastest solution to getting rid of the heavy grain and tears in the background.
